Landen Satterfield
Landen Satterfield is a Research Intern with the Council on International Law, Order, and Security, where he supports background research and policy analysis on Southeast Europe and the Balkans.
He is currently completing an extended academic exchange in North Macedonia as a candidate in a U.S. Department of State–sponsored international exchange program. Based in Skopje, Landen is engaged in a structured academic program focused on global studies, comparative education, and language acquisition.
Landen’s academic preparation includes advanced study across both secondary and college-level institutions in the United States, with a focus on international studies, history, and related social-science fields.
He is fluent in Spanish, conversational in Macedonian, and has introductory proficiency in Chinese. His academic and professional interests center on international affairs, law, and security policy.
