The Council on International Law Order and Security (CILOS) is an independent, nonpartisan policy research and advisory organization, think tank, and publisher dedicated to responding to challenges facing global security and stability in the twenty-first century. The council, through its network of global leaders, intellectuals, and academics will shape policies and introduce strategies that uphold international order towards creating a world that is secure, stable, and free.The research fellow will conduct research over the summer on a topic of interest that aligns with the mission and areas of focus of the council. The scope and relevance of the research to the work and mission of the council will determine the duration and official title of the fellow. Familiarity with international institutions, international legal frameworks, foreign policy, and global security policy is strongly preferred.Ideal candidates are current or recent graduates of the law school. The fellowship is also open to candidates with a background in other related fields (international relations, political science, and security studies).This is an unpaid, remote fellowship for the summer semester, with the possibility of extension based on the needs of the council.
