Research & Editorial Intern

Sara Badicu is a Research & Editorial Intern at the Council on International Law, Order, and Security (CILOS).
Before joining CILOS, Sara worked at the Embassy of Romania to the United Kingdom, where she supported the Embassy’s diplomatic and government-affairs work, focusing on how political, economic, and bilateral considerations inform its external communication and engagement. She has also taken part in the Romanian Model World Bank, where she researched country-level economic developments and contributing to a policy proposal.
At CILOS, Sara supports the Council's research and editorial work. She contributes to the Opinions program and to the research and publications of the Council's senior fellows, and conducts research and analysis across the Council's areas of focus.
Sara is an undergraduate in European Politics at King's College London, where her studies focus on international affairs, security, and foreign policy. Her interests span international relations, political risk, and economic policy, with particular attention to how international institutions, legal norms, and states adapt within an increasingly multipolar order, as well as questions of economic statecraft and financial markets. Sara works in Romanian, English, French, and Spanish.
